A Letter From The President

Welcome to our site.
2012 we are starting our 27th year of service to the transplant community, We look forward to another great year with as many positives in it as we had last year. I would like to mention our support group meeting there twice a month the first and third Tuesday of every month from 12 noon to 1 PM on the eighth floor of Tampa General. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Tampa General for allowing us to use their facilities. I wish to thank the LifeLink foundation and bio Script for their assistance in providing luncheons for us.

We have several events scheduled for this year for fund raising. It will start off with our late spring golf tournament. I will make sure that everyone gets the proper notification for this event. Last year it was a wonderful day out the weather was good and the company was great. Course in the fall we will have our annual Thomas Thatcher awards dinner.

This brings me to a subject that I'm always please talk about, the Doctors, Nurses Coordinators and staff. We in the Tampa Bay Area are very fortunate to have individuals with the credentials and the quality of help that is given to the transplant community.

We are a volunteer organization, we have no paid employees, which means that all the funds we raise go to help those that are in need. We now have the capabilities on our website to make donations. Your help is greatly appreciated, from everyone it note, we we thank you for your help.
